I, Marina Montedoro, born in Veneto, received my degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies and did a research PhD in Agrifood Economy and Politics in Padova. Due to my studies, a series of coincidences and hard work I started a profession, which I am still performing and which inspires me till this day. For this job I was assigned various tasks and covered various positions which have allowed me to live and travel all around the world.
For some time now I am living on the hills of Franciacorta and working in Rivolta d’Adda, where I work as head of the Italian Experimental Institute “Lazzaro Spallanzani”, an institute for scientific research, experimentation and services in the area of animal reproduction (livestock and domestic animals), genetic selection, food safety and traceability of products of animal origin and animal welfare. This interest in animals, in particular dogs, has always had a predominant role in both my private and professional life. Since recently I share both time and space with my adorable little dogs. The idea to create this site was born out of my love for them.
My website…
When I am passionate about something I will go to great lengths to know all about it, to learn and to experience it fully. A continuous growth which over time has contributed to a cultural enrichment and made me live many unique moments. With my dogs, it has been like that. The idea to create a site grew out of my desire to share my passion to which I became very much committed, to which I dedicate most of my free time, in which I put my energy and love and from which I receive in exchange just as much energy and love. I hope this site succeeds in transmitting to whom visits it the same emotions I feel each day. For that reason you will not find here what you can easily retrieve from sites dedicated to Chihuahua breeding like history, tradition, etc. For that type of information, I will suggest you some explanatory texts that I, personally, believe to perfectly cover these subjects.
